We also believe that good oral health isn't only about going to the dentist, but it's also about your daily habits. At Forever Smiles Dental, we work to instill good oral hygiene into children's daily routine, in order to serve them for a lifetime.

There are many available options for financial assistance for your dental care. Dr. B does not want anyone to post-pone dental care for financial or other reasons. We are one of few dentists in Houston that accepts CareCredit. CareCredit is a service that provides medical payment plans for families without insurance.

  • Brush Twice a Day… and Take Your Time!

I know, dentists have been telling patients for years to brush twice a day for two minutes. And the twice a day part isn’t too hard to do. It’s the two minutes that tends to be the downfall of most would be avid brushes. Here’s the secret… brushing doesn’t have to be just brushing. You can listen to music, watch TV, read a book, or have a dance party. Don’t tell anyone, but I do it.

  • Floss Daily

Flossing is even harder to keep up with than brushing, because of how tedious it is. But, it is just as important. Floss at least once a day, either before or after you brush, it’s all personal preference. Take your time, and don’t skimp. If you have a hard time with traditional floss, try floss picks, and, if you have braces, look into threading floss. And, of course, entertain yourself! Watch TV, listen to music, or do whatever it takes!

  • Go to the Dentist

Every six months, go get a check up at the dentist. It doesn’t have to be scary. Going to the dentist is simply a way to get your teeth more deeply cleaned, and to make sure nothing’s wrong.
