Sedation Dentistry
Dental Sedation Therapy is the practice of making the patient either completely numb, or unconscious. We use Sedation Therapy on children who have extreme dental fears and phobia, so that your children can have the smile they deserve.
- Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): A safe and effective sedative agent inhaled through a small mask over the nose to help you relax.
- Light Sedation (Oral Conscious Sedation): A combination of sedatives and anesthetics to help you relax and block pain while remaining conscious.
- Moderate Sedation (IV Sedation): Intravenous sedation where the patient is unconscious and unable to feel pain during procedures.
- Hospital Dentistry: Treatment in the hospital under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Dr. B is on staff at Texas Children's Hospital and West Houston Medical Center.
